The subject of the seminar was Profitability and Revenue through an Effective Revenue Assurance Strategy.
Azure, the world leader in revenue assurance, and Ascate, Russia's leading systems integrator for telecom operators, tried to show how to detect and prevent revenue leakage on your telecoms network, and protect your current and next generation profits.
In 2004 Azure commissioned telecoms analysts Analysys to carry out an independent survey of operators attitudes to revenue assurance; the results suggested that the average revenue leakage per operator was in excess in of 10% of revenue. Azure will be presenting the results of this survey at their revenue assurance seminar.
This seminar identified the sources of revenue leakage on traditional voice networks, and outlined strategies operators should adopt to minimize revenue loss, maximize revenue opportunities, and prepare for the challenges from 3G and IP products and services.
